Are We There Yet?

Did you ever take a family trip and every five minutes someone says. “Are we there yet” or “How much time left?”

It always seemed like forever to get there and the trip  home goes by in a flash.

The Bible is filled with examples of how God uses a long process to develop character, especially in leaders. He took eighty years to prepare Moses, including forty in the wilderness. For 14,600 days Moses kept waiting and wondering, “Is it time yet?” But God kept saying, “Not yet.”    Rick Warren

The American life and education system is the long TRIP, of 12 or 16 years, and then we expect that the next 50 years will just fall right in step.  We don’t count them or be accountable for any achievements or lack there of, we just seemed to have vague goals or plans and just check of the years until retirement.

Retirement, that elusive goal that happens at 50, 55, 62, 66 or 70 depending on who is paying for it or how much money you really PERSONALLY SAVED OR INVESTED FOR.

God worked in the LAST 40 years of Moses life, so do you have a plan to accomplish something?
