In life we decide what neighborhood to live in and what schools to send our children to. We join groups, clubs, churches and associations to meet and affiliate with certain people.
Country Club memberships in Gated communities cost in excess of $50,000 to join and $1000/m, and of course the houses are in the $500000+++ range
Private Universities in the US exceed $50000 per year
And “Occupy Wall Street” Protesters believe they should overthrow Corporate America and be given jobs.
And at what cost? Graduate with a degree from an Ivy League University and be told by the Career Center that the average salary for History, Finance, Liberal Arts, Sociology, Psychology is $44000, and for Accountiing, Computer, Engineering is $55000.
What they don’t tell you is that the AVERAGE Salary is for only 5% of the students that got Job offers because of Corporate Campus hiring. Everyone else went home and found out that the average salary for History, Psychology, Women’s Studies, and other NON skill education degrees is a big FAT ZERO, NADA, NIL, $0.00.
So there you are, waiting tables, working 20 hour retail jobs and heaven forbid living at home and coming in past 1AM. Welcome to the real world of the great American Education System.
Try Insurance SALES! or Door to Door commission sales or Temp work for $8.00 hour or the service industry Call Center at $13.00 hr. Or maybe one of your dad’s Country Club friends can get you into a factory job for $12.00. And remember that you’ll hear, “Well you have to get experience somewhere and start at the bottom, then learn and get promoted”
So you are at the bottom of the rung and “What you know” is worth nothing, and who you know is hmmmm.
Who you know is nobody of influence, nobody who has any power to help you, nobody is paying for any of your ideas, no one is buying you lunch to get good info.
So where do you go to get your chance in life? Your piece of the pie? Your foot in the door!
Before you get your MASTERS or MBA study what the demand and better still the Career Center GUARANTEED placement rate and SALARIES, because another $50-150k will not solve the problem. The schools and the Professors who have never had a job or can get you a job will gladly take your money.
SO I found my CAREER Change solution, and it was through an intensive 9 months of reading, studying, webinars, purchases, software and product reviews. My NEW SKILLS learning was not free, it took money, time, weeding through the scams, looking for legitimate businesses, not expensive franchises, not heavy or costly overhead, no employees and no income limits.
DID I SAY, “NO INCOME LIMITS” because I have been an entrepreneur/self employed for 30 years and my skills and industry just was not working anymore, not cutting it, burned out, kaput!!!!!!!!!
So what was I searching for? My question was How does GOOGLE make money? So I researched and studied the INTERNET, SOCIAL MEDIA, NETWORKING
And the more I learned, I got closer to the answers I needed to make good decisions.
I found a number of Serious legitimate business opportunities, but more importantly new friends, business partners and mentors to travel this new road in my life.
But my life is changing and my new friends are 5 and 6 figure a month income earners, self employed entrepreneurs, business professionals, experts in their respective industries and hard working self achievers.
We communicate daily, but work independently to share and grow our INTERNET BUSINESSES
